Laura Althaus will join us as part of the College Internship Program run by our Annual Conference. We’re excited to welcome her and help her explore her call into ministry. Please find a short bio and photo below and be ready to welcome her on her first Sunday in worship June 2nd!
Laura is graduating from the University of Houston with a degree in anthropology and a minor in religious studies. In Houston, Laura has worked in student ministries at St. Luke's UMC for over three years. Following this internship, she will begin working on her Master of Divinity at a United Methodist seminary as she is working on the ordination process. She loves hiking, camping, hanging out with her pet tortoise, and fulfilling her goal of visiting every Texas State Park.
